Shireen Khamedoost
Shireen is a very special girl.
She works very hard at everything she does.
She is a very good student at school
and she is very talented!
She has been taking gymnastics since she was 5 years old.
Shireen is now at Olympus Gymnastics in Sandy, Utah.
Her coaches are Mary Wright and Ryan Kirkham.
This year is Shireen's 2nd year as a Level 10 Gymnast.
We are so very proud her!
We are also so proud of Shireen with her scholastic accomplishments.
She is a 4.0 student at her Jr. High School.
She takes after her sisters and really does well in school.
But the amazing thing is how she balances everything in her life and still do so well!!
SHIREEN'S GYMNASTIC CAREER
Here is Shireen competing Level 7 with her first coach Katia.
During the Level 7 season, Coach Katia moved with her husband to Colorado Springs.
It was very sad for us to lose her as a coach.
With all of Coach Katia's great coaching,
Shireen was Level 6 State All-Around Champ!!
She also took First place on Beam and Bars and Second on Floor and Vault!
That year Shireen got new wonderful Coaches.
We were so lucky to have Natasha and Yuriy!
Natasha was Katia's coach in Russia.
Shireen made it to Reagonals in Level 8.
She went with her coaches to San Jose to compete.
It was a great experience to be with her coaches.
Shireen also made it to Western Nationals in Level 9 with two of her teammates.
It was a wonderful experience for Shireen.

They are all still competing together at Olympus with a group of wonderful Level 10 girls.

Shireen was a Buffoon for three years!
In her last year, she also got to be a mouse!!
She continued to dance even though she was competing in gymnastics.
She can't compete on a dance team anymore but she still loves dancing!
This was Shireen's Acro team.
Shireen has done Dance Solos for many years.
This is Shireen doing an Acro dance when she was 8 years old.
When she was nine, she won Queen at the Jr. Miss dance competition.
The winners got to have their picture taken.
This is Shireen dancing in a Logan Competition that year.
Shireen used the same costume and music when she was 10 but changed the dance.
It was such a fun dance to watch!
Shireen really liked the Hip-Hop dance
that used Heelys when she was 10.
Her gymnastic teammate and friend Sydney was also in this dance!
Shireen really enjoys Disneyland!
One summer she got to join in a dance in the Block Party parade in California Adventure.
