Our first excursion from Rasht was to the Caspian Sea. It took about a half hour drive
to arrive at Dandar-e Anzali. It is a seaside city with a large promenade along the Caspian Sea.
We tried out our new Montoe's (coats) and felt a little less obvious than with our sweaters.
Shireen is the lucky one being under age 8 getting to wear her nice cool clothes!

We chose this wonderful "air conditioned" boat to take us on a ride.
We thought it was interesting to see a Persian carpeted interior!

What happens if you lose your scarf? We wondered that as we were enjoying the fast,
fun ride in the boat.

That boat could really move!
